Brussels, 9 February 2010. John Bowis, HFE's Honorary President applauds the appointment of John Dalli as the new commissioner for health.

"The new commissioner's priorities and intentions to follow through with the proposal for a Directive on Cross Border healthcare, health inequalities and his "Consumers first, Patients first" approach, are a great match with HFE's policy agenda which will present great opportunities for common activities and exchange of views" Bowis stated.
